From a young age, I was captivated by dressing up and collecting vintage treasures. My mum introduced me to charity shops, and exploring them felt like stepping into an Aladdin’s cave, full of hidden gems and forgotten stories. That love soon became a passion for styling others, bringing joy through unique and expressive clothing.

At 21, I opened my first online vintage clothes shop with my partner at the time, sharing our obsession with the retro charm of the ’60s and ’70s. We traveled the country sourcing one of a kind pieces, turning our love for fashion into a way of life. My adventures continued in Australia, where I hunted for rare finds in op shops and began learning pattern cutting, creating my first bell bottom flares and a flared jumpsuit I designed myself for a performance.

My fascination with vintage coats deepened when I found the ultimate Penny Lane coat I had been dreaming of, in a vintage shop in a random small town suburb in Australia, with a butter like soft suede outer, incredible fur trims and a paisley lining, my obsession for Penny Lane style coats spiralling. Inspired by stories of my mother’s beloved tapestry coat from Richards Shops in the ’60s, I continued to source and sell incredible vintage coats all around the globe. Naturally i felt called to design and create my own timeless outerwear, pieces that carry soul and story.

When a suzani fabric supplier from Pakistan reached out, everything aligned. I began creating my first pieces, carefully selecting soft colour palettes and light fur trims from exquisite hand-woven textiles of eras past, blending vintage inspiration with artisanal craftsmanship.

And so, Native Rose was born, a celebration of natural fibers, soulful design, and wearable art that reflects the essence of you.
